Soooo….I have an idea. There are so many rad people on tumblr nowadays, and a lot of these people go unknown…er followed? Anyway…I’m going to post five people I enjoy on tumblr and why. (I tried to choose people you might not already follow.)

You should reblog this and add a few that you like….Deal? No big deal if the person has already been said…it just establishes how cool their tumblr is! Oh, and it’s harder than you’d think to just share a few…

Ian Broyles…all over content….really great photos! no serious…go look at his flickr account…

Frank Chimero…well if you hadnt noticed, I love his graphic design work (I post it all the time) and now he’s got a tumblr!

Shotguneddie…nerdy AND fashionable…cool combo

Beauty Zealot…I love her drawings so so much…makes me want to go grab a box of crayons and have some fun

I always said I would try to keep my followed numbers down to just a few, but somehow I ended up following 40. Here’s a few that I enjoy (and can explain why I enjoy in just a sentence or two), so if I didn’t pick you it’s totally my tongue-tied nature:

Scout - Has a really good eye for picking out neat photography, never really pigeonholing herself like I tend to do.

Super Hamburger America (aka. E.C. Mendenhall) - Social science nerdery that’s consistently witty, clever, and informative. Following this guy makes me feel better about occasionally nerding out in my own blog. Goes well with What I Learned Today.

Allison Weiss - A near-constant stream of interesting and amusing miscellany. Also, she’s pretty badass with a guitar.

Robot Heart - A really strong voice that’s not afraid to ramble into politics.

Jenn - Better with Obama stuff than the Obama tumblog, and with bits of other interest as well.
